I am currently enrolled in a Masters program in France, which means I travel to Paris every seven weeks. Yes, it’s a pretty sweet deal and the opportunity has given me the chance to explore small corners of the city I would usually miss. One lazy Sunday after class, I was wondering the Marais with a friend when we stumbled upon a true gem, La Petite Table. A small restaurant tucked away on a tree lined street- if you love Brunch this is the place for you.
When you walk through the doors you feel as though you are in a friend’s kitchen, as the chefs are front and center preparing the accouterments… fresh eggs, grilled vegetables, and beautiful breads and tarts!
At only €26 for a multi course extravaganza, I’m convinced the only meal you need to have on Sunday in Paris is the La Petite Table brunch, but you’ll obviously still want to enjoy dinner in this famous food city!
After we settled in and placed our orders, the food began to flow, one beautiful dish after the next. The granola was divine, the bread basket legendary, and the scrambled eggs some of the best I’ve ever enjoyed.
Brunch at La Petite Table has become a bit of a tradition, and something I look forward to when I venture back to Paris. This is the perfect spot, not at all a tourist trap, delicious food, elegant decor, and a street full of shops for browsing once you’ve enjoyed a phenomenal breakfast in Paris. The next time you’re in Paris, I highly recommend you stop by La Petite Table for brunch.
